About Us

About our family

Our family of three moved from the Bay Area in March of 2021, to pursue our love of farming. With us, we had two dogs, one cat, and individual farming experiences. Since moving to Elk Grove, we have blossomed into a well-oiled machine. All of our animals receive the highest quality of care we can provide.  We now have a variety of different animals, such as goats, sheep, and chickens.

Where did the name come from?

Our founders absolutely love sunflowers and bluebonnets! One loves sunflowers because it reminds her of her grandma, and the other loves bluebonnets because he was born in Texas! If you didn't know, bluebonnets are the Texas state flower!

Egg Update

We genuinely care for and love our chickens. Because of this, we do not keep lights in their coops to stimulate egg overproduction. We allow them to molt and take their biologically appropriate break from laying. We are currently NOT SELLING EGGS until spring!
